Ken Stoll has been a customer with the Combs Agency for over 25 years, and he has remained with the company because of how he has been treated as a client. Combs has remained dedicated to treating their customers like family since its start.
“When I was younger and first moved to Columbus, I didn’t really know anybody. I went through a couple different people based on recommendations here and there. You buy a house and somebody recommends something, or you buy a car and someone recommends somebody. It was really just hands off, not very personal. ‘Here’s my rate, here you go.’ When I first started talking to Chris and his dad, it was a lot more personal. I knew them a little bit, but didn’t know them great at the time. They just took it to a different level, just asking me personal questions about what I’m trying to accomplish now and in the future, and even what’s my wife’s name. They treat you like a person and not a business transaction.”
Not only has dealing with the company brought a personal touch to Stoll’s insurance experience, but he knows that it’s always a team effort, and that anyone in the office is there to help. Even if Chris and Rick aren’t in, you’ll always have someone to talk to.
“I’ve gotten to a point where I even trust the people that are in the office now. I’ll call and I won’t even necessarily talk to Chris. I can talk to Vicki, or Carolyn at the time, and then you can deal with Rick. You don’t really have to work with anyone in particular, it’s kind of a whole family out there. They all know who I am and all know how to work with me, it’s nice not having to wait for one person to call me back. Anyone can pretty much help with anything.”
The way Combs has treated Stoll is how we treat all of our customers, looking to build a level of trust and understanding both personally and professionally. You can never be too comfortable with the people who are there when a crisis strikes, and the Combs Agency looks to provide a high level of comfort through our process.
“You trust what’s going on, you trust that things will get done the right way. It’s comforting to know that once you call somebody it’s going to be taken care of.”
